Jesus in Conversation

Psalm 18:49 “Therefore I will give thanks to You, O LORD, among the Gentiles, and sing praises to Your name.”

Sometimes, in today’s society, we are afraid to praise God before the Gentiles, non-believers. But here David chooses to praise Him especially among them. How else are they supposed to know the ways of God, if we don’t talk about Him? Paul asks, “How shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard?”1 Jesus Christ should be in every part of our lives; He should come up in every area and every topic of our conversations.

I was convicted of this one year when I was making a point to talk about God with one particular person, and God asked me why I did not just talk about Him normally, in all my encounters. So, I began to attempt to make a conscious effort to talk about Jesus as I would a best friend in conversation. I challenge you to do the same.
