Years ago my siblings and I would dance in the kitchen while we cleaned up. I often played the lead part because there were more girls than boys. This made it very difficult for me to change over and do the girl’s part as the follower when we swapped dance partners. To help myself, I would close my eyes. When doing this I did not worry about or try to figure out what step came next; I simply allowed them to lead me across the kitchen floor.
There is a key to good dancing… Let the leader lead. A good leader knows how to lead and signal where their dancing partner needs to go next. For example, a man who knows how to dance and lead well can take any young woman to the dance floor and make her look like a pro if she will stop trying to do his part and let him lead her.
It is the same way with Christ. He is an excellent leader, but our troubles come when we are not good followers. He will take us for a whirl around the dance floor of life if we will just let go of our agenda and stop trying to guess where He is going next. We simply need to follow His voice.
If you need to, close your eyes and do a trust dance with Jesus. Listen for His voice and trust when He moves you around. You will be surprised at how amazing it can be.

I love this idea of dancing with Jesus I immediately got up and danced after reading this post with my eyes closed
